Between idea and product lies more than technology. Three lessons from developing our own platforms.
Start with a clear case
Our products did not start with a technology, but with a task: visualise colour concepts, connect communication, renew websites. The use case determines which AI features make sense, not the other way round.
AI is part of the product, not decoration
In FARBIG, AI supports image analysis and drafts. In HOI, it connects conversations with context. The rule always applies: a feature must solve a task, otherwise it remains a buzzword.
Think about safety from the start
- Data: What may be processed, and what may not?
- Control: Where does a human review before something happens?
- Transparency: Can users understand how a result comes about?
From prototype to platform
A prototype shows whether something is possible. A product shows whether it holds up in everyday use: with clear processes, reliable operations and a team that listens.
Technology impresses. Products convince when they solve a task.
Conclusion
Own products with AI grow from substance: a real problem, a clear decision and the willingness to build step by step.
